Rathinavel Subramaniam (RVS) Educational Trust was established in 1983 as a public charitable Trust, in fond memory of Master Rathinavel Subramaniam the elder son of the chairman Vijayashree Dr. K. V. Kupusamy and Late Smt. K. Padmavathy, with objectives to create facilities for education, health care and up-liftment of the poor and the downtrodden rural regions. The vision of this charitable trust is to provide affordable quality education to the needy particularly from rural India. Dr.K.V.Kupusamy has proved and distinguished himself as a great visionary and an able administrator. He has carved out a Niche in the educational arena by establishing Educational Institutions spread all over TamilNadu.
He is a shining example to show how one could rise from a humble beginning to preside over an empire of educational institutions by the virtues of hard work, dedication and devotion to a committed cause known for his magnanimity , spiritual bent of mind and suave cool demeanor, he is widely recognized and respected. To him , the panacea for the maladies of mankind in Education, Health care and Farming. In a true sense, He is a Philanthropist, Educationalist, Industrialist, Agriculturalist, very humble and kindful person by nature.
The astounding growth of RVS Educational Trust has brought under its fold a plethora of educational institutions giving education from Nursery to Doctoral Level. The Trust runs categories of institutions spreading across the fields like Arts, Science, Engineering,Agriculture, Medicine and Health care etc.,
His Insatiable interest for agriculture has resulted in formation of exuberant agricultural farms at Tenkasi, Thadankulam, Thanjavur,Sempatti and Sengathurai. Realizing Agricultural and rural development as the key to the country's progress, RVS Trust hasventured tocreate a niche in the farm sector.
It has extensive farms across Tamilnadu with holdings to an extent of 5000 acres, devoted to research extension and training apartfrom integrated farming activities like horticulture, nursery and sericulture, Dr.K.V.Kupusamy's latest Initiative is in the area ofskilldevelopment for unemployed youth, particularly in rural Tamil Nadu. In all, RVS Trust Trains over 25,000 youth and facilitatesappropriateplacements. RVS Trust extends its arms for RVS IAS Academy and NEET coaching. As on date, RVS stands as one ofthe largest trusts which runs many educational Institutions in the whole state of TN.
RVS Aarupadai Veedu Cultural Trust gives vent to the Trust's abundant love and piety for the heavenly Lords and spiritualism. TheKumaran Kottam on Coimbatore – Trichy highway at Kannampalayam houses a temple of Lord Muruga adorned with 5 stairs, 6000sq.ft. Rajagopuram. A magnificent temple for Lord Venkateswara built behind Kumaran Kottam is popularly known as SulurTirupathi
The 81st birthday of our beloved chairman Dr. K. V. Kupusamy was celebrated on 11.09.2022, To commemorate this auspicious occasion "ANNADHANA ARACHALAI" wasnaugurated to cater to the needs of the poor and needy, facilitated in a veryclean and hygienic space near Arupadai Murugan temple, Kumaran kottam, Sulur.

RVSCET approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai is marching towards a new era in education was established in the year 2007 by our Chairman Dr. K. V. KUPUSAMY and the college has attained the role of "Holistic Education" right from the start. The college is located 14 kms away from the cotton city of Tamilnadu, Coimbatore, spread over a sprawling campus area of 200acres bordered by the serene beauty of Southern India. RVS is well connected by buses moving to various places in propinquity. RVS is attaining eminence as the favorite target for Engineering Education, for its immaculate infrastructure, outfitted with thebest of facilities over a rambling campus area.
